Counseling and Mental Health Services

Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a counseling and mental health support service which seeks to work collaboratively with students and the University to support individuals who are experiencing some measure of distress in their lives. Treatment options include individual counseling, medication management, group therapy, peer counseling, and workshops. All visits are confidential and mental health records are held separately from the rest of the medical record, except for information on medications and hospitalizations.

Peer Counseling

Peer Counseling is a safe place where students can confidentially discuss any issues with trained student counselors. Harvard’s peer counseling groups specialize in issues ranging from relationships, to gender and sex, race and class, and body images. Most importantly, peer counselors will talk with students about any issue, no matter the nature or severity.
